The Fish That Doesn't Like Water

The Bird That Doesn't Like to Fly (or Fire?)

Art Chandelier....

If you can believe it, this wire basket will some day become a funky chandelier with glass beads and dangling crystals.
Some day...

You know it will be very cool, but it won't weigh 65 lbs like this one I found on the internet!

Animals Around the World

Here is a small left-hand corner of an illustration--just a few little animals I'm playing around with--these don't have shading or all their colors and details yet. There should also be some 'earths' or 'the world' in the picture too...
I rather like my little jellyfish crab!

Moose Doll

A little moose doll I made from painted muslin and recycled sweaters. It is jointed and can move it's arms and legs. A decent attempt...

Art of Sewing

Featuring 4 pieces of art--handmade quilts: Bail's idea to create a puffin quilt, and all the grandmas' items: soft poofy, double-batted flannel, red-work embroidery, scrap fabric/yarn ocean.

Snow Up High=Moose Down Low.

Bailey said they finally had some snow in Homer, so she made a pregnant snow angel. Well, the angel wasn't pregnant--hey, don't you usually lay down on your back??

Anyway, going up to a higher elevation made it possible for Nate to try snowboarding again; they'd snowboarded in KS during April last year--before they pulled out the next morning on their ALCAN drive. It's hard to believe I will be a grandma soon and I am so excited! However, Bail is beginning the heavy stage--baby is due Feb. 19th.
