Stenciled Wooden Floor Tiles, DIY

These 15.5 x 15.5 tiles were created from 11$ cheap thin plywood, whitewashed and stenciled with Behr paint, edges beveled with a belt sander and painted with a clay color, then polyurethaned 4 times. Not sure if they will hold up--I wouldn't drop something heavy on them! Not sure what to use for grout yet; they might 'move' with humidity?? I guess we'll see how this experiment holds up...

Em took it upon himself to observe them, then draw them while I was trying to get Rhodes down for a nap.
